A green-friendly, three-wheeled electric vehicle has taken up residence at the Crater School of Business Innovation and Science. Awarded by the Rogue Valley Clean Cities Coalition, the sporty chassis is specially designed to help train future ecologists, graphic designers and technicians.
Mike Quilty, an RVCCC member and former Central Point city councilor, said that the group hopes the automobile will help students learn more about alternative fuel technologies, which, in time, will bolster the public’s understanding of natural gas, propane, renewable natural gas and hybrid technologies.
